Introduction: Hi!  This is my second year of teaching first grade at the Brandon Site. Prior to this, I taught Kindergarten and Reading Recovery at the Evansville site (since 1999). I am a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a B.S. degree in K-6 Elementary Education and Reading Instruction.  I am also a Reading Recovery trained teacher (Hamlin University) with a concentration of classes in beginning reading strategies.  

My favorite unit to teach is a science life cycles unit. The highlight of these lessons is hatching butterflies in my classroom in the fall. I live on a farm near Millerville with my husband Paul and have three grown children and three grandsons.
